Ryan Stirm began his winemaking career through a love of farming. His passion was for the land and what could be grown but eventually turned towards vineyards specifically. Wine then became his way of documenting a place and time. While most of his winemaking pedigree has been etched in California, he spent time in Margaret River, Australia and the Wachau in Austria (Weingut Tegernseerhof). Abroad, he was able to hone his craft making Riesling as well as learning about the best practices in vineyard management. Ryan currently splits his time between the cellar and the vineyards he is contracted to tend in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Every can is made from organically farmed grapes, all of them go through natural fermentation and are canned with low sulfur. All of them are certified delicious.Yes, pricing is up – the story you’ve heard 1,000 times about everything is true with grapes and aluminum too. BUT – keep in mind each can is the equivalent of a half-bottle.
These still remain values in REAL WINE.
Check out the five new releases below – they should be here by May. Quantities are limited – please let us know ASAP if you are interested. Only available in New York and New Jersey.
